Decision Malizia against Italy (Li Muli v. Italy Avv. Alessandro SAVOCA )EUROPEAN COURT OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Another success in Strasbourg for our claimant, who had filed an appeal against Italy for the failure to enforce a definitive sentence favorable to him, because the Italian Ministry did not pay the compensation within the reasonable term of six months. With the unilateral declaration, the Government therefore admitted the violation, offering a sum of money to be paid within three months. The Government also pledged to ensure the enforcement of domestic court decisions within the same time frame. Both the decision of the internal justice and that of the supranational court have finally been respected and both implemented.
